Being a member of the Group Chief Risk Office, the Security Supervisor, you will oversee the internal security operations and Security Officers during assigned shift/tour. Your Primary Responsibilities:

• Carries out the rules, regulations, and procedures of the corporation to control access, prevent trespassing and prevent loss or damage to persons or property on premise. Assists with ensuring the safety and security of all staff and guests on site.
• Ensures that security posts are accurately staffed and inspects such posts on a regular basis.
• Manages the security force and ensures that Security Officers carry out regulations & procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments and other critical staff to ensure that security services are accurately provided.
• Coordinating and leading a Security Operation Center or security control center environment
• Prior experience using security related systems. Report management system, two-way radios, and visitor management systems.
• Identifies and handles existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role.
• Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, supervised, and controlled.
• Adheres to written risk and compliance policies, standards, and procedures for business activities while also ensuring that the security team follows these standards.
• Applies knowledge of policies, processes, and procedures to provide mentorship and guidance for team members and serves as a resource on raised issues.
• Serves as a resource to senior security management on special projects or broader security impacting assignments and demonstrates the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deliverables on a timely basis.
• Leads all aspects of the security & safety to property and delivery access at entry gates, turnstiles, and visitor lobbies; provides information and direction to employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Provides response and resolution to critical incidents and other security issues.
• Coordinates the patrol operations to DTCC property, preventing trespassing, theft, vandalism, and criminal activities.
• Supports responses to emergency incidents; works with and aids first responders to include federal, state and local law enforcement agencies and other emergency services providers.
• Coordinates shift blotter and documents for all security shifts, ensuring that key information is communicated to team members as appropriate. Ensures that administrative records are accurately maintained.
• Assists other supervisors and managers in duty assignments, daily operations, and coordinating workflow.
• Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; advances appropriately

Talents Needed For Success:

• 3-5 years supervisory experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred, not required.

Additional Qualifications

• Ability to workdays, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime if required
• 4 or more years of physical security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Possess valid state driver's license.
• Work experience in leadership within the physical security industry or similar business environment preferred

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
